Mianquiel was an artist who put color where there was only darkness.
Mianquiel’s story goes back to his childhood. A complicated childhood where art allowed him to open a window to an outside world to which he had no access due to his health problems. When he was still petite, the first drawings were colored windows through which he looked into a world that Mianquiel traced, full of magical places to which he traveled through his imagination. That was the way he found to brighten a dark hospital room, where he was sentenced for a long time.
After years of illness, Mianquiel underwent an operation that restored his health. As a result of that moment, Mianquiel could lead an everyday life. Still, the magic of color and the capacity for expression he developed in that dark room were integrated into his being and would accompany him throughout his life.
From the beginning, he was able to see the potential that technology provided and began to be interested in it. After a few years, Mianquiel was fascinated by the appearance of the first computers and the possibilities they offered. He soon began to develop his first digital artworks, initially exploring and immersing himself in the world of fractals. Later and as technology advanced, he began to draw digitally.
Although there are many artistic lines that he has explored throughout his career, Mianquiel was fascinated by the beauty of the human body and the possibilities it offered to develop his art. Playing with his forms became his greatest obsession, thus specializing in the nudes. Mianquiel has managed to take them to another level, making fusions never done before, which result in works imbued with a very personal style that does not leave indifferent to anyone.
Historically, Mianquiel’s works have always been very exclusive works that private collectors usually acquired. Consequently, these have been limited, becoming inaccessible to the general public. With the appearance of the NFT (Non-Fungible Token), the artist decides to open his work to the world and facilitate its access.
Currently, Mianquiel continues to experiment and merge techniques that allow him to take his nudes to another level, creating works that can be enjoyed anywhere in the world thanks to the new possibilities offered by NFTs.
